Ali Zafar To Sing World Cup 2011 Song

Pakistani singer cum actor who has now joined the league of Bollywood celebs has finally been declared the official singer to sing the Cricket World Cup 2011 song. The most interesting thing to note is that a few days back, media was busy announcing Atif Aslam, as the singer for the World Cup , a piece of news of which even Aslam was unaware!
We never know if by tomorrow the World Cup Authorities change their mind but till now it is the Pakistani Prince of Pop, Ali Zafar who has been chosen as the official singer for the World Cup. Zafar was rated as one of the 10 Sexiest Asian Men recently, though it was Ranbir Kapoor who topped the list but Zafar was able to leave several Bollywood Stars behind!
Zafar seems really happy to be chosen as the official singer of the World Cup this year. He has to write, compose, and sing the song. Really lots of work!! “Shooting till late. Now Recording trumpet now for the world cup song”, tweeted Zafar.
Even though Ali has lots of work to do, really great amount of work after all, cricket is the biggest event both for Pakistani and Indian audiences, but even then he has not abandoned his fans on Twitter as he is busy tweeting his current schedule, plans, and point of view.
Recently he has been busy tweeting and re-tweeting others tweets related to Veena Malik who has been under constant criticism of Pakistani media and critics after her participation in Bigg Boss- season 4. It appears that Ali has the qualities of a perfect unbiased judge; this is what his tweets and re-tweets related to Veena suggest!
In one of his tweets, he writes, “I won’t give my view but will only reflect your all to others by retweeting so that we are aware of where collective consciousness is headed.”
He even seems to be a little philosophical from his tweets! Or perhaps equalitarian, or liberal revolutionary!! Well, this is what one of his tweets suggest, “They say that women r insecure creatures. I say a man who dictates his woman is more insecure.”
